Process

Our Approach

We don't offer diamond cutting, because it is a flawed process that is liable to flake.

We use the same materials as many manufacturers do so you can expect high quality and longevity from all of our work.

Our Process

  • 1. The vehicle is professionally lifted and secured. The wheels are removed and tyres marked, to assure they go back on the vehicle in the same position.
  • 2. Tyres are removed and the wheels are chemically stripped to remove the existing finish.
  • 3. Wheels are then blasted to remove any remaining debris or corrosion, providing adhesion for the new finish.
  • 4. Wheels are then checked for damage, straightened, machined and filled where required before being prepared for painting.
  • 5. Wheels are then preheated to remove gassing and powder coated into a highly durable primer and then cured in the oven.
  • 6. Wheels are rolled out of our bespoke oven and hang to cool.
  • 7. Wheels are then painted to the colour the customer requires, using water based products.
  • 8. Wheels have powder acrylic lacquer applied, which gives them a deep shine and lustre. This lacquer also provides an extremely hard protective coating from road salts, break dust and anything else the road can throw at it. This is then cured in the oven.
  • 9. Once the wheels have cooled the tyres are refitted and balanced.
  • 10. Wheels are then replaced onto the vehicle and torqued up to the recommended setting.

Customers should however check the tightness of their wheels after an initial bedding period of 50 miles. We are more than happy to do this for you, and of course this would be free of charge.
